Ceremony Held for Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Students
Students of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department of BUBFA Burhaniye Faculty of Applied Sciences wore their chef jackets at a ceremony held for them. The ceremony took place at the Prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz Conference Hall and was hosted by Acting Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet Oğuzhan İlban.
The ceremony was attended by Burhaniye District Governor İlyas Memiş, Mayor Ali Kemal Deveciler, Gendarmerie Commander Captain Alim Burak Çelik, Police Chief Yasin Dikmetaş, Chamber of Commerce President Mustafa Aysel, Burhaniye Municipal Council Member Müjdat Keçeli, teachers and students.
During the ceremony, chef jackets were individually presented to 38 students studying in the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department by members of the district protocol. Students who wore their jackets were traditionally presented with a knife set as a gift.
