Governor Ustaoğlu Attended Turkish Cuisine Events at BUBFA
The event, attended by Balıkesir Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu, Burhaniye District Governor İlyas Memiş, Burhaniye Mayor Ali Kemal Deveciler, Burhaniye Chief Public Prosecutor Turgay Osman Taş, and Burhaniye Faculty of Applied Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. M. Oğuzhan İlban, attracted great interest.
During the event, with the participation of Governor Ustaoğlu and the district protocol, keşkek, one of the important traditional dishes of Turkish cuisine, was prepared by pounding it, while kalburabastı dessert and yağlı pide were also made. After the tasting of the prepared dishes, participants had the opportunity to try these flavors.
In addition, folk dance performances were presented during the event, and stands were visited within the scope of the student clubs festival organized by the faculty. Participants emphasized that such events are important in highlighting the richness of Turkish culture and preserving cultural heritage.
Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. M. Oğuzhan İlban stated about the event:
